There will be plenty of window space for everyone and their camera equipment. Our photographer is not only knowledgeable about the bears and their habits, but
also knows the best angles and light conditions to get great photographs.

Churchill is the undisputed Polar Bear capital of the world. By mid-October, Hudson
Bay, located just outside of Churchill, is where these magnificent giants of the Arctic congregate with surprising regularity. The shores around Churchill are a regular
gathering point for numerous polar bears waiting for the bay to freeze, at which
time they will disappear, almost overnight, heading for the rich seal-hunting areas,
where they will spend the winter and not return until the ice melts in summer.

Our 4 full days on the tundra are made in specially designed vehicles called Tundra Buggies. They are the most comfortable, the newest and the most reliable vehicles available. The buggies keep us at a safe distance above the bears, but we can open windows for amazingly close viewing and photographic opportunities. Each day is
spent observing wildlife in their natural habitat and learning more about this fragile ecosystem.
